Creating art forces me to be observant, and keeps me thinking visually. So that when early morning sunshine glistens off the snow I am more likely to notice. I feel that these little boosts of beauty enables me to be more balanced and better equipped to deal with the realities of life. I try to pay forward the effect art has on me by crafting works that invokes a positive response in people who view my art. I work in acrylics for the vibrancy of the hues and the variety of techniques that can be used.
